Enroll At Least 70% of Your Qualified Prospects in ANY MLM Opportunity---
This is a hype-free, “no manipulation” way of sponsoring. If you trick, force, lie to or manipulate somebody with a trick or SPONSORING SYSTEM, it’s just like you pulled a gun on them; you may get them to network while you’re forcing them, but the minute they can get away, they’re GONE. So forget hype, and just about everything else you’ve ever heard about MLM, and do it the new way--- the RIGHT way.
What you want is to share the ability with someone to change their lives by making more income. You don’t want to get rejected, embarrassed, or hurt in the process.
Each of the following 10 phases is designed to NATURALLY encourage people for whom this is the right thing do---while eliminating the negative dream snatchers who can kill your business. If you skip, alter, or eliminate a phase, you change the process into something more different than you realize. THERE IS A SPECIFIC REASON FOR EVERY PHASE.
What’s most important is to always be honest and speak from your heart. People can smell a “system” or canned approach a mile away; they’ll instinctively reject it. RELAX, put everything in your own words, and resist the urge to follow a “script”.
PHASE 1- CONTACT: This is the first impression a person has from YOU. It might be an ad or card, or it could be a prospecting question from you (“I wonder if you’d be good in my business?”). Maybe it’s a lead that you’ve purchased. No matter what, they must respond POSITIVELY to get more information from you.
PHASE 2- QUALIFIER: A brief overview of what you have and what you're looking for. Example:
"You know how some people take an aspirin every day? For some people it’s healthy, right? Well that started with SIMPLE WORD OF MOUTH--- with doctors just telling their patients. Now there are thousands of people who take an aspirin every day, and when they run out, they buy more, right? Well what if you owned a piece of every aspirin sold to those people? That’s the kind of opportunity we’re talking about here.
"We've located a doctor in Tennessee who's created a special blend of tea that he recommends to his patients. It's got green tea and white tea in it, which is really good for you, and also some holy thistle and persimmon leaves; they're all natural. Since there's no drugs in it, you don't need a prescription to buy it or recommend it to others. This tea is already a million dollar business, just by word-of-mouth; what we're trying to do is kick it up a notch and reommend it to people nationwide. WORD OF MOUTH IS OUR ONLY ADVERTISING.
"You start with us part-time with us as an independent distributor, and we'll help you get your business going. You can help refer this tea to people nationwide and get a piece of all the business.
"We do the business part-time, but it has full time earnings potential. $49.95 is what it costs to be a distributor; what I’m looking for is people who want to make an extra $1,000 a month or more within the next year.
"Do you work full time?
"All I’m asking for right now is that you take a look at this and let me get back to you. Can you do that?
I’ll need an email address where I can send you the information, and a phone number where I can get back to you.”
The CONCLUSION of the qualifier is most important: "It'll take about 10-15 minutes for you to go over the information--- what time can I get back to you? And you'll be at (this number)?" This is simultaneously your permission to follow-up and an appointment to call them back. See how smooth that is?
GUIDELINES
They key points in the QUALIFIER are in bold italics. Of course they want to know what this is all about, and you’ll answer their questions as simply and truthfully as you can. But if they want more specifics, they’ll have to give you what you ask for:
They must understand the time and money involved. “$49.95 is what it costs to get started, and what I’m looking for is people who want to make an extra $1,000 a month or more within the next year.” NOT immediately!
“Do you work full time?” The purpose of this question is to find out, “Do you need money NOW, or can you invest the time and money to make this successful?”
“All I’m asking for right now is that you take a look at this and let me get back to you. Can you do that?” If they can’t, this is NOT who you’re looking for.
“I’ll need an email address where I can send you the information, and a phone number where I can get back to you.” Most people don’t do MLM until they’ve been exposed to it 6-7 times or more. The key to the phases is that they give people up to 10 exposures or more… with no manipulation from you.
Notice that there are spaces between the paragraphs. That’s because you PAUSE after them. Give people an “out” if they want it; let them disqualify themselves before they waste your time. If they have questions, answer them and make sure they understand (“does that make sense?”, “are you with me?”, etc.)
PHASE 3- EMAIL: Gives them more information and links to various websites.
PHASE 4- RECONTACT: They can contact YOU with their questions; if they don’t, you have their phone number and permission to call them back.
PHASE 5- FOLLOW-UP: The exposures continue. Offer to answer any questions they have.
PHASE 6- "SIZZLE": Notice how many companies have you do a "sizzle call" first. You'll give it more impact if you do it ONLY after several exposures where you’ve already had a chance to build some rapport. In your FOLLOW-UP, tell them you want them to hear something, and three-way them into the sizzle line. Then, you “take their temperature”--- ask them to rate how they feel about your opportunity at that point (on a scale of 1-10). You're looking for at least an “8”: if they’re not, ask what it would take to get them there.
PHASE 7- CONFERENCE: Now you can set up a time to call them back and three-way them to the next company conference call (MAKE IT ASAP).
PHASE 8- THREE WAY: After the conference, ask if they have more questions. If so, three-way to your sponsor/upline for answers. If they have no more questions, proceed to Phase 9.
PHASE 9- ENROLL: When all questions are taken care of, the next step is “Would you like to get started?” To enroll, they go through your company-replicated website.
PHASE 10- SPONSOR: Now (and ONLY NOW) can you begin your successful sponsoring work. Example: “With your discount, you can order as much product as you want to use, sell, or give away. You don't have to order all at once; you can order a little bit each month. I'LL HELP YOU enroll at least two customers like you, who keep doing the same thing, you can be making an extra $1,000 a month or more within a year. So let’s start spreading the word!”
If you will allow people to qualify themselves for your time, you can enroll an average of at least 70% of these qualifiers, who will be higher quality and more valuable customers. More importantly, they'll be in a more natural position to qualify and enroll others with more realistic expectations and greater chances for success.
