How To Be In The MLM Business

TO BE IN BUSINESS IN MLM---

BUSINESS is the exchange of resources for profit. If you don’t make a profit, you don’t have a business. If you don’t have a business, you can’t make a profit.

Whether you start your own business, buy a franchise, trade stocks, invest in real estate, or do MLM, it’s a BUSINESS and not a hobby. If you treat it like a hobby, it’ll be like one. If you treat it like a BUSINESS, it’ll be that, too.

Any business you choose, if you have no track record (or even if you do), should have a) little or no financial risk (less than $500); b) no staff (but plenty of resources); c) all the know-how you need to be successful.

What kind of business? ALL PEOPLE WANT LIFE AND GOOD HEALTH (self-preservation is the first law of nature).

The world’s biggest killers are LIFESTYLE related (too much smoking, drinking, stress, fast foods, wrong foods, etc.)

The body heals itself--- grows, protects, repairs itself.

Good nutrition helps healing.

Doctors sell MEDICINE; food companies sell NUTRITION.

Nutrition comes from food products--- F-O-O-D!

2/3 of all MLM companies that have been successful in the last 60+ years have sold nutrition products. Customers use the products; they run out, they buy more.

Most people believe the key to success in MLM is the company, its products, and pay plan. WRONG!

At least 80% of ALL companies fail. The AVERAGE lifespan of an MLM company is 15 months.

A lot of nutrition products deliver the same benefits, regardless of the company.

There’s no such thing as a PERFECT pay plan, but some are better than others.

Success is related to YOUR ASSOCIATION with the PEOPLE who control the PRODUCTS and PROFITS.

MLM is a way of organizing people to buy a product. THAT’S ALL IT IS. Anyone who tells you something different is mistaken or lying to you.

The money is made when the people in the organization BUY and SELL the product.

MLM is like joining a club where you can buy products at a discount because you are a member.

Non-members can also buy, if they pay full price.

Look for products with RETAIL VALUE that you can purchase at a WHOLESALE DISCOUNT.

Become a MEMBER and buy as much product as you can USE, SELL, or GIVE AWAY AS SAMPLES.

Recommend that OTHERS do as you do so you can SHARE THE PROFITS.

RECOMMENDING to people who are NOT INTERESTED is called “selling”. MOST PEOPLE HATE THAT.

Recommending is 1,000 TIMES EASIER to someone you like, who’s definitely interested. The steps of recommendation are: 1) see if you like them; 2) see if they’re interested; and 3) ask them to join you.

Those are the steps--- 1-2-3. Most people do 3-1-2 or 3-2-1, and THAT’S WHY THEY FAIL.
