MLM How-To: Messages--- To Leave Or Not To Leave?

Voicemail messages--- to lave or not to leave? That is the question.

Whether ‘tis nobler to pass on the message or leave one, hoping for a call return.

Fact: few of your messages will be returned. The rest will be just negative impressions you made on people who have no desire to talk to you.

Given this, I was recently instructing one of my downline members to not leave messages. “But I called YOU back,” he reminded me.

So much for bad advice.

While you don’t want to leave a bad impression, you never know when one of the few returns will be a new business partner. I personally make it a point to return all calls, because you just never know. But I’m an entrepreneur, and I’m more optimistic than most.

At least make the message personal. Don’t try to sell anything. Give or ask for information. That works better.
