As EASY as 1-2-3 (not 3-1-2 or 3-2-1)

Have you ever called a lead or personal contact to offer them your “opportunity” and they said:

"OK. Call back tomorrow and we’ll talk about it..."?

Or, have you had someone ask you if this was "a scam" or “one of those deals”?

Or, have you had someone challenge you on something that was TOTALLY ridiculous?

Or, have you ever had a HOT prospect COMPLETELY change their mind… within 24 hours?

Or, have you ever asked for someone’s number and he said, "Why don't you give me YOUR number and I’LL call YOU"?

Well, SOME of those times you were just REJECTED... but MOST of the time, you were just being TESTED.

All of these examples are things people do to "test" network marketers. Some of them are testing you to see if you can REALLY take care of business, or if you’re like all the other milque-toasty MLMers out there. The irony of these "tests" is that if you DO what theyTELL YOU… you FAIL the test.

Some people test us so they can see who they're dealing with--- they don’t expect us to be honest about something THEY need to do to make US successful. Let's face it... some of us TALK a big game, but when it comes to walking the talk, we can't BACK IT UP.

Also, people have LOTS of options when it comes to these things. There are a lot of “opportunities” to pick from. They don’t want to pick a LOSER.

We ALL hate losers.

If 100 “biz-op” people are calling you, how do you pick out the "real deal" from all the FAKERS? Of course! You have to TEST them.

But you DON’T do it by saying, "OK, I'm going to give you a little test…". It must be a BLIND test that shows you the REAL DEAL.

Don’t you always say to yourself, “I’ll KNOW it when I SEE it”?

And usually you don’t tell the guy on the other end that you’re “testing” him… OR WHAT YOU DISCOVERED BY USING THE TEST. If you don’t want what he’s got, you just slip away and leave him scratching his head.

And if you do this OFTEN, MOST of the tests you use are SUBCONSCIOUS and work their way into your NATURAL way of communicating with people.

So, guess what? That's what your POTENTIAL BUSINESS PARTNERS are doing to YOU--- EVERY DAY.

A lot of the tests they use are OUTSIDE OF THEIR AWARENESS. They’re testing you AUTOMATICALLY! And if you fail on ONE test, you’re NOT LIKELY to get another one.

We don't have time to get to know people over a couple of months or years to figure out if they're legit. We need to know NOW. So we use shortcuts.

Shortcuts let us know NOW if we’re talking to a “one night stand”… or a LIFETIME BUSINESS PARTNER.

I hope you get what I'm saying.

MLM is like playing a game you can have a LOT of fun at. But you MUST KNOW THE RULES. Most people don't.

Do you ever feel left out? Like someone else knows something you DON’T--- and they’re not telling you? That’s the way it is in MLM. A FEW PEOPLE know the REAL MOVES, and these are the people who make MOST OF THE MONEY.

Think about it. A few people drive the bonus cars while the rest might just make a few dollars on the side. Or a few people (who you NEVER see) make most of the money while your buddy tries to get you to a meeting so you will enroll.

What do the WINNERS KNOW that the LOSERS DON’T? They know that MLM is just a way of ORGANIZING PEOPLE WHO BUY A PRODUCT. That’s all it is. Anyone who tells you anything different is either sadly mistaken or flat out lying to you. If it’s REAL NETWORK MARKETING, everyone makes what they’re worth, and gets what they pay for.

In other words, there’s a PRODUCT that PEOPLE WANT and are WILLING TO PAY FOR, and NOBODY makes MORE MONEY on YOUR BUSINESS than YOU DO. There’s no “traveling up levels”, no “buying of positions”, and so forth.

NETWORK MARKETING is ORGANIZING PEOPLE who BUY A PRODUCT. The MONEY is made when people in the organization buy and sell the product.

DO YOU PLAY GOLF? I don’t (either), but I know there’s a place where the course is that’s called the “club”. If you want to play, you have to be a MEMBER. Oh sure, they might let you play once or twice, but eventually you have to JOIN THE CLUB if you want to play… right?

Network marketing/MLM is like joining a club where you can buy a product at a discount because you’re a member. Non-members can also buy if they pay full price. So you can BUY THE PRODUCT at the RETAIL PRICE, or you can GET IT WHOLESALE if YOU’RE A MEMBER.

SO, IF YOU WANT TO PLAY and WIN at NETWORK MARKETING:

1. Look for a product with RETAIL VALUE that you can purchase at WHOLESALE DISCOUNT.

2. Become a MEMBER and buy what you can USE, SELL, or GIVE AWAY.

3. Recommend that OTHERS do as you do so you can SHARE the profits.


RECOMMENDING to people who are NOT INTERESTED is called “selling”--- most people HATE that.

It’s 1,000 TIMES EASIER to make your recommendation to someone you LIKE, who’s DEFINITELY INTERESTED.

If you ask me, “HOW’S YOUR GOLF GAME?” and I say, “I DON’T PLAY GOLF”--- you DON’T spend the next 30 minutes trying to convince me to play--- because I DON’T CARE.

But if I LIKE the game--- and I LIKE YOU--- and if I HAVE some CLUBS, and the PRICE of a MEMBERSHIP--- maybe, just MAYBE you’ll invite me to play with you.

So the steps are:

1. See if you like me.
2. See if I have what it takes.
3. Ask me to join you.

In MLM, that’s the NAME OF THE GAME--- 1-2-3. Most people do it “3-1-2”--- or “3-2-1”. THAT’S why they fail.
