We Don’t Know What We Like, We Like What We Know

Recognition heuristic is a fancy term that means if you’ve heard of something, it’s popular, and if it’s popular, it’s good.

That’s why we have so much trouble selling our “world’s greatest” MLM products, because nobody’s ever heard of them. We expect people to believe it’s a GOOD thing that we don’t advertise our products, but that’s not how they think.

Gerd Gigerenzer (his real name), a psychologist at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin, wrote a book called, “Gut Feelings: The Intelligence of the Unconscious”. In it, he describes a study in which people tasted identical peanut butter in three different jars. But 3 out of 4 people said the peanut butter tasted better if a “name brand” was on the label.

In a Stanford University study, children were fed the same chicken nuggets and French fries in different packaging. The children preferred the food that was in McDonalds wrappers.

Researchers at the University of Cologne in Germany found that 2 out of 3 travelers preferred a familiar airline, even in the face of negative information about its safety.

In other words, we don’t know what we like, we like what we know.

Why are you telling people how great your company, products, and pay plans are? You will NEVER build a big business that way. Almost all your efforts should be to establish YOURSELF as a “name brand” if you want to make GANGSTA INCOME in MLM.

Are You In An MLM Scam?

I know you have passion and enthusiasm for what you're doing. I believe you're sincere and I respect your perspectives and experience.

HERE'S WHAT I KNOW:

I struggled needlessly for years for lack of the use of correct information, and most of the people I've ever met in MLM who have been in for any length of time have had a similar experience. Result = little or no money.

SOMEBODY is making money in every company. But most people are NOT! Something is definitely wrong with that picture because nobody gets in with the idea of NOT making money.

There are fundamentals of the game that make anyone successful, because I and everyone on my team who utilizes the principles is REMARKABLY SUCCESSFUL no matter what our different backgrounds and experiences are.

The philosophy is not for everybody. Good thing we don't need that many.

I NEVER quarrel with anybody and I NEVER tell anybody their deal sucks. To each his own. My focus is more on what it takes to be successful. Usually, if you're not, it's NOT YOUR FAULT (although the situation makes it YOUR RESPONSIBILITY).

Through it all, I am a true student at heart. I appreciate you!
